People are considered heroes for different reasons . . .

Am I in the place of God?

Joesph gives glory to God by refusing to take His place

As for you, you meant evil against me

Joseph honestly faces the reality of his brothers’ sin against him

God meant it for good

Joseph trusts that God’s purposes are always good

I will provide for you

Joseph treats others with integrity and generosity
