Richard Croft, chief executive and co-founder of M7 Real Estate, told a rapt audience at EG's Not Just Another Property Event his sobering experience of running European real estate fund management business Halverton at the time of the financial crash of 2007. He acknowledged a string of bad decisions continues to inform the choices he makes today.
He was speaking on a panel called Challenging Stereotypes and Being Richer for it, as part of EG's Not Just Another Property Event.
The panel brought together property figures who span the industry to share insights into their career journeys and business ambitions, speaking candidly about the highs, the lows, the times they had to be resilient, and the lessons they have learnt.
