Teil 2 Folge 14: Bannockburn - ”Proud Edward’s Army” und die Schotten

Als das belagerte Sterling Castle zu fallen droht dämmert es Edward II, dass er Schottland zu lange vernachlässigt hat. In Windeseile stellt er eine gewaltige Armee auf und marschiert (oder in seinem Fall: reitet) nach Norden. Bei dem kleinen Fluß Bannockburn kommt es zu einer gewaltigen Schlacht, die die Schotten bis heute in ihrer Hymne besingen.
