Wake Up Tri-Counties Kali Stoops Buddy Walk Kewanee

Buddy Walk, a nationwide charity that supports people with Down Syndrome, is now being brought to Kewanee for an event this October. Kali Stoops is one of the organizers of Buddy Walk Kewanee and she joined Wake Up Tri-Counties on Thursday, August 31st to explain the concept behind Buddy Walk and her personal connection via her daughter, Lottie, the inspiration for bringing Buddy Walk to Kewanee. You can take part and help support those with Down Syndrome by going to the Buddy Walk Kewanee Facebook page and getting registered to participate. They're also accepting volunteers as well. Buddy Walk Kewanee is set for October 14th, in Windmont Park.
