God’s Politics: God’s Enemies

"Who are you voting for?” is the question of this election season, and the question you’re hoping doesn’t (or does) come up at your next family gathering. Religion and politics are on the short list of topics we’ve learned not to talk about, yet they shape our lives on a daily basis. Our culture is screaming from both sides of the political aisle that our salvation lies in voting for the right, or for the left. However, the freedom, hope, security, peace, and future we are looking for is not found by looking right or left, but by looking up. Over the next 5 weeks we are turning to the pages of scripture to learn what it looks like to live out God’s Politics.
