Developing Your Authentic Self through Core Values

If someone asked you the question, "Who are you?" how would you answer? What's the 1st thing that comes to mind? Is it your faith? Family? Your career? Do you define yourself by your personality, your passions, or abilities? Maybe you don't even know where to begin. But we can all agree it's an important question. A defining trait of an Uncommon life is authenticity: allowing others to see and know your true self. But for that to happen, you first need to know who you are. And to discover and develop your authentic self, you need to know your core values.

Defining your vision, mission, strategy and outcomes are difficult - if not impossible - without first defining your core values. This is paramount to understanding your identity, and the 1st step in effective leadership.
