Our guest for this episode is Lynne Innes. Lynne is a Nurse, Healthcare Chaplain and Educator working in NHS Fife and NHS Education for Scotland. Lynne is also the host for the excellent NES Talking about Bereavement Podcast .

Lynne Innes  

Lynne is a Nurse, Healthcare Chaplain and Educator working in NHS Fife and NHS Education for Scotland. She has a long clinical career of working in both primary and secondary healthcare, higher education and a national role in healthcare education. The most important resource in health and social care are our staff and she works passionately and energetically alongside staff to offer them a wide range of staff support and care opportunities to promote wellbeing, including activities such as facilitating reflective practice, pastoral supervision and mentoring. These offer her an ability to support and share her values of connection, love, spiritual care and compassionate leadership.

Dr Elaine Taylor  

Elaine is a GP in Lothian. She is an Associate Adviser with NES, as Module Development lead for PBSGL and lead for the Whole Story Podcast series.  

Elaine is passionate about professional development and has held roles in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education at both local and national levels with the RCGP and NES. She has a decade of experience as lead for Clinical Communication at Glasgow Medical School.  

Elaine is an International Coaching Federation globally accredited Coach. She has a Masters in Clinical Education, whose research focus was professional identity development.
