My guest is Leanne Toohey who without a doubt, is the OFFICIAL “Oatman Resident Historian”.

Some fun facts about this Route 66 Gem that welcomes all Mother Road visitors and the wild burros who live there with open arms to walk anywhere and everywhere in their community. A few backroad must see and do’s and we learn about her love of being part of the S.O.S. Donkey Haven; a non-profit safe haven for all donkey’s placed in their care. Her work with the Oatman Tailings Society and her life as a "Soaper". We learn more about the life of Clark Gable, an Oatman regular and the famous "Honeymoon Night" in Oatman heading home from a courthouse Wedding in Kingman.
