About Ray Booker
Ray Booker is a certified Ayurvedic practitioner and graduate of the ASP1 and ASP2 (2008-2010) programs at the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He also holds certificates in Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy and Food as Medicine. He studied Sanskrit with Vyaas Houston of the American Sanskrit institute and with Nicolai Bachman and Pierre Couvillion, who both taught at the Ayurvedic Institute.
Ray first began practicing and studying meditation with The Venerable Dharmawara Mahatheraan (also called Bhante, a Buddhist honorific) in the late 1970’s, then spent 25 years learning and studying with Roy Eugene Davis. Ray is a minister in the Kriya Yoga tradition.
