US Close 4 Dec 17: Flynn and the tax bill pushing and pulling markets on Friday.

US sharemarkets eased on Friday in response to the news of the former US national security adviser Michael Flynn. But losses were trimmed on reports that the Republicans had secured enough votes to pass the tax reform bill in the Senate. At the close of US trade, the Dow Jones was down by 41 points or 0.2%.
