In this episode, Katie begins a new mini-series on "Lessons From the Father." Today's lesson is about accountability. Question: How do you see truth? Is your truth ALWAYS the truth, or are you able to look outside of your feelings and beliefs to perceive the real truth? Growth as a daughter of God is best demonstrated and learned with three distinct and important behaviors: humility, accountability, and confidence in God and His plan for you. We all need to increase our confidence in His ability to shape us, grow us refine us, and move us forward. Don’t let the enemy keep you down or discourage you with some warped version of the truth. It’s okay to recognize your feelings and your beliefs, but let GOD’s truth be what guides your steps.

Katie Anne is a Woman of God, a Certified Life Coach, a single mother of five amazing humans, and a woman whose journey through divorce deepened her faith and reshaped her future in ways she never expected. Growing up in the LDS (Mormon) religion, she always believed she had the "truth" of the gospel. All of that was radically challenged after she was encouraged to read the Bible and defend the truths she was taught to believe in. After embracing the teachings of Jesus from the Bible, her faith journey has profoundly changed her life and the facts she has come to recognize. This podcast is aimed at supporting divorced Christian women over 40 to navigate their paths with faith in God, grace, resilience, and a renewed sense of hope for the future.
