Market Close 30 Jul 21: ASX 200 falls on Friday but lifts 1.1% in July

Despite the market weakness on Friday, the ASX 200 still managed a monthly improvement for July, rising 1.1% and making it 10 consecutive monthly advances. Today’s weakness was highlighted by losses for major miners and technology stocks.
