Mid-Session 17 Mar 20: ASX enjoys respite as sellers retreat.

Local shares rebounded on Tuesday having suffered some of the worst declines on record a day earlier. Investors have taken some comfort in the last 24 hours which have seen central banks globally inject more emergency liquidity into the financial system in an effort to support financial markets.
