We examine the year 1888 as George Eastman patents the first roll-film camera, 1957 as Arkansas Governor Orval Faubus calls out the National Guard to prevent the Little Rock Nine from attending school, and 1991 as the asterisk is removed from Roger Maris’ home run record.
