Morning Report : 21 May 19 - ASX 200 set for losses after hitting 11.5 year highs

 

US sharemarkets fell on Monday. US-Iran tensions and lack of progress on a Chinese trade deal weighed on sentiment. The stoush between the White House and Huawei restrained interest in the tech sector. The Dow Jones index lost 84 points or 0.3% after being down 203 points in the session. The S&P500 index fell by 0.7%. And the Nasdaq index lost 114 points or 1.5%.
