Scripture, seen through the finished work of Jesus is understood in its intended, life giving, and inspirational way… vs. the lens that is dependent on an attempt to fulfill, what man could not fulfill - un-finsished, or before Jesus’s victory over sin and death. The result of an “un-finished lens” is that we see what is wrong with us, instead of what is right him.
