US Mid-Session 27 Jan 17: US slightly higher after yesterdays record run

US sharemarkets consolidated recent gains on Thursday, a day after the Dow Jones index hit 20,000 points for the first time. Investors continued to dissect profit results with shares in Qualcomm lower by 5.6%
