Father, We praise You for being the Giver! We thank You for the sacrificial death of Christ, for giving us new ears and a new heart and an ever-increasing delight in You. We confess that we have nothing to offer You. We have nothing to add to Your grace and glory. We are poor and needy, yet You are rich and generous. So in Your great generosity and love, would You pour out mercy on us today? We repent of our sins and turn to You and ask You to make our hearts clean. Father,

We praise You for being the Giver! We thank You for the sacrificial death of Christ, for giving us new ears and a new heart and an ever-increasing delight in You.

We confess that we have nothing to offer You. We have nothing to add to Your grace and glory. We are poor and needy, yet You are rich and generous. So in Your great generosity and love, would You pour out mercy on us today? We repent of our sins and turn to You and ask You to make our hearts clean.

When it’s hard to discern who or what to trust in or rely on, we know that You are the constant, never-changing trustworthy King. You are our solid ground. Help us to be men and women of integrity, who image You to a world of lies and betrayal. May we be set apart in the way we live and speak and think, and may all the glory for that distinction go to You alone, God.

We surrender our lives to You, Lord—every moment of our day, each decision we make, we yield our will and way to Your perfect will and way.

We love You too. Amen.
