David Allen Edmonds spent most of his working life teaching German at the high school and college levels. His summer jobs ranged from campaign manager to stay-at-home dad to track coach.
He co-wrote two educational TV series for the Cleveland PBS affiliate (WVIZ) and spent one summer in Hollywood on the writing staff of ABC-Paramount’s Out of the Blue, a spin-off of Mork and Mindy.
Teaching remained his first love, and his experiences in the classroom form the setting for his ‘Joe Lehrer’ suspense novels, Personal Pronouns and Indirect Objects. During COVID his writing took a different turn: he published the small-town romances Unexpected Love in 2022 and Unveiled Love in 2024.
