On this episode of Looking for Love in All the Wrong Dust Jackets, we will be a discussion of Half a Soul by Olivia Atwater.

Dora was promised to a faerie lord, but when he comes to collect, her cousin Vanessa stabs him with her embroidery scissors. This leaves Dora with half her soul, causing reduced emotions and a difficult time understanding societal norms.

When Vanessa and Dora go to London for their first season, they meet the Lord Sorcier. Elias is intrigued by Dora's condition and fakes courting her to spend more time investigating the curse.
