Mathew 6:9 NLT Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy When the disciples begged Jesus on a learning way on talking to God, Jesus didn’t say “Pray like this – Our King in heaven” Nor did He instruct them, Our Judge in heaven, No, He gave them a pattern for prayer that stirs our hearts. Before we come to our business, there must be a solemn address to Him with whom our business lies. Jesus said “This then, is how you should pray: Our Father in Heaven. God is your father. You are His child after all you have done wrong. After you have failed to do right, after all you have struggled with, indulged in, or been too scared to stand for.
