Rest for the Weary | Week 2 | Controlling vs Surrenderd

In today’s sermon, we will look at the causes and effects of trying to take control of the trials and situations in life that are beyond our control. This can be a disaster for us because when we take control, we miss out on the guidance and calling God has for us. A lack of trust in God shows that we believe we know what is best and when it is best to do it. God wants us to obey him, instead of offering sacrifices, by fully trusting in him and surrendering our lives to him, since he is good and wants what's best for us.
