1. “God is love” is easy to be abused. 
2. “God is love” does not mean “love is god.” 
3. “God is love” is not an excuse for sinning.

1. Find satisfaction in God’s love.  
2. Give up the idolatry of love.  
3. Do not use God’s love as an excuse for sinning.

Why is it dangerous to use “God is love” as an excuse for sinning?

Father, I know You are loving and forgiving but these are not excuses for me to do evil. Forgive me whenever I abuse Your love and grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
