Sermon - March 1, 2020 “Black and Blue”

In this service we’ll be observing the first Sunday in Lent. The 40 day time of contemplation, repentance and renewal in preparation for Easter. One of the things we sorely need to repent is the sin of racism.  In today’s sermon “Black and Blue,” we’ll be exploring racism through the lens of the tragic events of July 2016 when 5 Dallas area police officers were gunned down by a sniper.  This is the first part of our new sermon series “Are We Sure We Want to Talk About This?” The answer is yes we do!
