Episode 49: We are Leaving for Viva Las Vegas

In this episode, Jose is joined by Ken Miller, the editor of Las Vegas Magazine, to discuss Las Vegas' plans for reopening in the midst of the Coronavirus. For the intro and outro, Jose is joined by his wife Christina. 

But, first, Jose and Christina chat about what they are drinking: Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company's Hoppy Poppy.

For their FRED Talks, Jose talked about how a person could fulfill the CDC's handwashing guideline of 20 seconds by saying the Our Father, and Christina called out guys for using the game Words With Friends to creepily hit on women.

In the main segment, Jose is joined by Ken Miller to talk about developments in Las Vegas regarding the plan to reopen during the Covid-19 epidemic. The governor of Nevada was scheduled to give an announcement before our interview but had to cancel due to the fact that he had been exposed to the virus. We also take some time to talk about the horrendous interview the Las Vegas mayor had on Anderson Cooper. We also talk about what Las Vegas will look like as the casinos begin to reopen. Ken also gives his advice about how to have a good time in Vegas, and we talk about our favorite Las Vegas movie. It's a fun conversation! 

In the final segment, Jose talked about how he has been watching the Disney+ docuseries entitled Gallery, which is about the making of The Mandalorian; Christina has been watching reaction videos on Youtube by people like Jamel AKA Jamal, Rebecca the Vocal Athlete, and Beth Roars.
