Scot Bertram, President Biden will be in Wisconsin Today to Announce a New Student Loan Forgiveness Program

Here are 3 big things you need to know—

 

One —  Millions of people will be looking up at the sky today to witness the solar eclipse. It's the first total eclipse here since 2017 and will be the last until 2044.  The path of totality, where the sun is completely covered by the moon, will occur in over a dozen states.  Thousands of people are planning to travel to see the historic event.

 

Two ---- Former President Donald Trump says he will finally announce Monday when he believes abortions should be banned, after months of refusing to stake a position on an issue that could decide the outcome of November’s presidential election. The presumptive Republican nominee wrote on his social media site Sunday night that he plans to issue a statement on abortion and abortion rights.

 

And number three — President Biden will be in Wisconsin today to announce a new Student Loan Forgiveness Program.  The planned announcement comes after the Supreme Court stopped his previous attempt at a student debt program almost a year ago.
