Episode # 1016 - Father Anthony’s Retreat And Return

Father Anthony is back, and he is feeling good and the gang is all here, including both Producers.  Father Anthony talks about his retreat he went to last week, talking about his retreat and what he did and relaxed.  Since Producer Nick is getting ready for his Halloween Party, Father Anthony talks about Halloween itself, not only it's origins a bit, but also how everyone is decorating too.  With Father Anthony being away for his retreat, he talks about being away makes him feel guilty a bit, that is being away from all of us and the time away.  He also talks about other times he's gone away to visit places or go on retreats in his time off away from all the work and stress.  After the first break, Father Anthony talks about the Synod this past weekend that he, as well as others have been following, discussing their latest developments and purpose.  This brings up the idea of changes going on in society, particularly divorce and same sex marriages, with people feeling pain and being hurt, as well as stressed.  With all this in mind, Father Anthony brings up the notion that families are indeed suffering with all this happening around us too.
