In this message, we look at "Judge not, lest you be judged" (Matt 7:1). This verse is frequently used to tell others that they have no right to judge us; however, in its true context, we see that judgement is not the issue, but rather the way we execute judgement. Jesus is telling us that we are to examine our own hearts and deal with our own sins before addressing the sins of others. However, he tells us here and elsewhere in Scripture to "judge a tree by its fruit" and "test the spirits", etc. We see that judgement, according the method prescribed by Jesus, is helpful and necessary when used towards the end of restoration. We pray this message encourages you!
