Starting a Greenegg...It’s all about the air.

Air hot......less air cold. Think about it in the ashes in the bowl and the ashes beneath the bowl. All air openings need to be open to start the fire.

Then use the upper dual air control with the lid closed and the lower opening at the base of the egg to control the heat.

Air to start, controlling air to maintain a desired temp.
