Gaea Star Crystal Radio Hour #382 is an hour of visionary acoustic musical improvisation recorded live by The Gaea Star Band featuring Mariam Massaro on vocals, acoustic guitar, ukulele and native flute, Craig Harris on congas and native drums and Bob Sherwood on piano and bass guitar. Next up is the mystical “Morning Star Rising”, introduced by Mariam’s native flute, followed by the gospel influenced “Arise”, a prayer to releasing all which does not serve. “I’ll Lead You Along” is a steady, driving piece filled with prayerful native flute and elegiac piano. “Pure White All Over” is a winter prayer with a reggae feel which features Mariam on piano as Bob moves to the bass guitar, and “Beloved” is a minor folk ballad led by Mariam’s driving acoustic guitar. Today’s final number is the sprightly, hopeful “Crystal Boat Painted Blue” led by Mariam’s ukulele and steady conga grooves from Craig.
