First up: a dominant 3-0 road win against the Virginia Marauders. With squad rotation in full effect, the Blues came out hot, backed by flares and full voice from the Bay Bhoys. Matt Lenert bagged a brace and Emmett Kershner sealed it late, while Mikey Johnson made his debut. Stream issues couldn’t stop the vibes, and Sam caught up with Matt post-match for an exclusive chat.

Then it was back home on Father’s Day for a gritty showdown vs. NoVa FC. After a heated first half that saw three early yellow cards for the Blues and a questionable goal for NoVa, the second half delivered chaos. Matt Lenert equalized with a beauty from an Albi Ndrenika dime, but late drama—including a gut-punch penalty and a straight red—saw the Blues fall 2-1.
