Episode 249 features a new band from Maryland called Choking On Flowers. I became friends with the guys after a video shoot that we did at The Hangar Studio in Columbia, MD. They are an indie rock band with a real chill sound that combines garage rock, alternative, and funk, among other influences, delivering raw authenticity and infectious grooves. I featured their new song called ‘Rhythm Girl,’ which was recored at Pocketdoor Productions, and is not yet released, but you'll hear it here first. If you like it, definitely go check out Choking On Flowers on all social media platforms. In the conversation I spoke with Devin, Bryan and Eli and we talked about songwriting, recording, working, and Ravens playoff speculation. Thanks for supporting local music and local artists.
