Episode 24 - Ed Olczyk, Sr & Ed Olczyk, Jr

On this episode of the Hockey Think Tank podcast, we have the great honor of speaking with Edzo Olczyk (the legend you hear on NBC) and his son Eddie Jr (Assistant Coach at Division 1 Bemidji State University).  It was so cool getting a father and son on together to talk hockey and about their time as Eddie Jr was growing up.  We went over how close they are as a family even with Edzo's travels, how the game of hockey has shaped their character, Edzo's battle with colon cancer, and the ever-so-important car ride home. We then talk to Eddie Jr about a day in the life of a college assistant coach, and his process of identifying and recruiting talent/character.  It was an awesome conversation that will benefit all players, parents, and coaches!!
