Episode # 1641 - The Matrix Associated With Lent

Today is very interesting, for Father Koys is here once again and means it’s Wednesday and his show today focuses on Science Fiction, with regards to Lent.  His focus today revolves around the 1999 Sci-Fi masterpiece, The Matrix, which one could say has religious motifs or ideas or concepts for all to see in some way.  With this movie in mind, he also points out the “dangers” of YouTube and what’s on the Internet these days.  With The Matrix in mind, he uses it to describe the focus with religion and our relationship with Jesus here and devotion to Lent in some ways.  He also shares how fun the movie is too, which it is and Producer Nick helps him out too.  Father Koys uses the movie to explain many religious inspirational moments and how you can continuously analyze the movie in this way.  After the second break, being a fan of the movie too, Producer Nick joins in the discussion a bit with Father Koys on the Matrix.  Because of plot points, he uses how the connections between humans and machines, relates to reality of the connections between people and original sin.  Father Koys also looks a little on the philosophy side of the movie, as well as the technical side.
