“The Power Within: Manifesting and Awakening”

David's talk focuses on recognizing the power of the mind, a concept that Jesus teaches us about. Manifesting is a spiritual concept, as seen in the book and movie The Secret, but Jesus takes it to another level and teaches that our feelings, thoughts, and beliefs are making the world we perceive. By recognizing the power of our mind, we can pay closer attention to our feelings, thoughts, and beliefs, which are making up the world we perceive.

Jesus teaches that we are not victims of anything we perceive in the world because we made it up with the power of our mind. The problem is not the dream we perceive but the fragmented lens of the ego and wrong-minded thinking. Jesus is teaching us that the reason the world is in front of us is because we want it, cherish, and desire it more than we desire God. In A Course in Miracles, Jesus explains that manifesting equals perception, and perception is not knowing God or knowledge.
