On this Monday, Father Anthony welcomes on the show today from all the way from Cicely, Sister Florine Licavoli from Cicily who runs the Soup or Soup Etc Kitchen here at St Stanislaus Kostka today and she has some exciting news for us. But before that, the weekend is discussed first, especially the Sanctification of John Paul the Second and others, as well as The Divine Mercy yesterday (Sunday) with the discussion on if the Mass was either too long or much. Christina is back again in Mexico to help her family with her Great Aunt who is sick, but things are going well and Tony and Gerri explain how they felt during this exciting weekend with so much going on, with six, yes six celebrations going on Sunday. Next, Sister Florine, who, besides making everyone hungry once in a while while running the soup kitchen, she talks about her history is talked about, as well as what she has been doing not only at St. Stans, but everywhere, including her duties working in the St Stans soup kitchen and the volunteers that help, as well as the activities/meals made for everyone. She also talks about one of the most influential moments of her life, meeting then Pope, John Paul The Second, now since this weekend, Pope Saint John Paul The Second and her trip to Rome to meet him and the things that occurred when she met him, many wonderful things. Some interesting/cute/funny things said involving family of hers too, mostly kids. On another note, since John Paul has become a Saint, the topic of Saints and becoming Saints comes up toward the end of the show.
