Uncivilized with Michael Lees

In his new documentary Uncivilized, Michael Lees chronicles his journey as he survives category 5 Hurricane Maria in a bamboo hut in the forest of Dominica (not to be mixed up with Dominican Republic). Throughout this spiritual experience, Michael learned what it means to awaken to your soul, overcome adversity, and live courageously in alignment, all while absorbing powerful life lessons. He went in with some basic survival gear, a few books, a camera, and a question: “What makes for a good life?” 

Halfway into his quest, Hurricane Maria changed the environment dramatically. After returning home and living without power, running water, and internet for 3 months, he eventually uncovered much more than the answer he had initially been searching.
