David Loved Jonathan, and God Loves Us

4/3/22 - David and Jonathan loved one another as their own soul, and Jonathan made David swear to keep kindness to his household after his death. David, 22 years later, invited Mephibosheth into the King's house to eat the rest of his days. It was David's love for Jonathan that brought Mephibosheth in. God, however, loved us. Christ was given to reconcile God's elect to himself.
