Jesus heals a paralytic man in Mark 2, but he only does so because the man's caregiving group took embarrassing, possibly even dangerous, risks to get him to Jesus.  And once they got him there, Jesus heals the man inside and out.  This week we consider what it is to give and receive care and what this largely unseen, thankless, dirty work has to do with the mission Jesus had while he was on earth.  And as followers of Jesus and interested observers of Jesus's life, we'll ask what it has to do with ours.
