Episode # 1104 - 2015 Lent Has Begun

TGIAF everyone, on this Thursday and this week has been busy for all of us, not just you loyal listeners, but everyone on the show today too, with Ash Wednesday yesterday, and the season of Lent is upon us, as well as the coldest winter here in Chicago, the worst since around the 1800's.  Hopefully everyone is safe and warm too, as well as everything is too, including Producer Nick's cats and Christina's birds too.  Today, Father Anthony tells us all the 10 tips of Lent, as well as going into the history of Lent too, reflected a bit in the readings today.  This goes along the lines of our existence on Earth, as well as what we do, reflected with ashes given on Ash Wednesday, as well as feelings on this provided by Gerri and Christina.  After the first break and a reading Father Anthony shares, he goes into what are considered to be The Ten Tips for the Best Lent.  As the show continues, Father Anthony points out more on what happens after Lent and Lent as a whole, with the Ten Tips to help and seeking God's forgiveness here.
