Here is the official synopsis of this film:

"Riggs and Murtaugh are BACK AGAIN! But this time, it's the 90's! That means Leo's got bleached blonde hair, everyone's in a SoCal street gang, and Murtaugh's still getting ready to retire. Riggs dials up his attitude to 11 in this one for some reason."
