When people ask me which episode of the show to start with, this is one of the 3 episodes I pull out of the bag right away. Still, over the last 3 months it hasn't had a lot of play, so I think a lot of new listeners might not have experienced it. So, let me introduce you to Mayor John Duran, one of the most genuine and charismatic people I have ever met. John's story weaves through many of the podcasts, as he was a very strong figure in the experience of many Skippers. This one was a genuine pleasure for me to record, and it has a special place in the podcast history for me.
