Live Q & A with Dr. Borba (Questions from Parents and Teachers)

A few months ago, I hosted a virtual book club for a month with teachers and parents. We read and discussed four chapters in Dr. Borba’s book called “Thrivers” - The Surprising Reasons Why Some Kids Struggle and Others Shine. Including 7 Teachable skills that set happy, healthy, high-performing Kids Apart.

We read about: Self-Confidence, Empathy, Self-Control and Optimism.

And...Dr. Borba joined us for one of our meetings and answered our questions. I thought you would love to hear this one of a kind interview with her. We loved having her join us! 

The book club was amazing. Teachers and parents were sharing their insights around the chapters we discussed. We were inspired by each other. We found a place where we could share, learn and grow together. There was something really special about it. I loved it so much, I’m going to launch another book club in the next few months.
