Market Close 6 Nov. 2019: Local shares give up gains over past three sessions

Local shares have faded from a positive start to end at the lowest levels of the day. The ASX 200 closed 36.9pts or 0.55% weaker at 6660 with the lone improvement coming from the materials sector. Losses were rather broad based with tech names, healthcare and consumer stocks among the major weights. National Bank (NAB) fell ahead of its FY19 earnings release tomorrow.
