Walk Softly, Peter Troy - Too Many Maids A-Moping

Miss Abigail Peters, a member of the "Girls Galore" chorus show, calls Peter Troy to investigate the strange happenings at the Fleur-De-Lis Club theater. There have been several accidents backstage in the last ten days, such as faulty electrical equipment, collapsing scenery, and falling sandbag weights. Peter believes it is a deliberate attempt to intimidate the girls, so that the show will close. The next day, Peter learns that Abigail is in the hospital.  It seems that she either fell or was pushed out of her apartment window.
