The year is 1870 in the Dakota Territories. A small mining community has it's sites set on becoming a big city, but growth never comes without issues. And no community exists without tall tales and stories...

Our investigators wake in their camp at the base of Humboldt Mountain. Somewhere in the hills nearby the strange bug like creatures mine precious gems. As the group discusses their plans the ground rumbles and shakes. Delilah reaches for her explosives... Hudson and Lucas look up the mountain as they load their guns... Jeremiah says a prayer as he stows his book... In the trees nearby the shadows move as their strange allies keep watch.
