Achan compromised by:

- Taking what was considered cursed into his house
- Stealing what belongs to the Lord
- Not giving to God and keeping what belongs to God with us for our own benefit.----more----

We tend to compromise not only in money, even in other type of giving:

- Giving our time to the work of God, do not hold on to what belongs to God
- Giving our talents to God's work, do not hold on to what belongs to God
- Giving our children to the work of God, do not hold on to what belongs to God
