Paul interviews RED SMITH JEFFERSON ASSEMBLY which was held on July 23, 2016 was a historic day in American history as over 600 people from 21 California counties came together in a small town to give birth to the new State of Jefferson. Not since the state split in 1861 of West Virginia from Virginia has there been such a large number of Americans meeting in one room at one time to discuss the formation a new state in order to make a ‘more perfect union’. Perhaps one of the most important events in a troubled U.S. history took place in a small town called Live Oak, in a protestant church with over 600 people from 21 California counties who convened to form a more perfect union with the new State of Jefferson.
