Join me in an inspiring conversation with Sarra Dennehy, State Director in New Hampshire for Best Buddies. We talk about Sarra's son Liam and the difference he has made in her life, her work in bringing Best Buddies to New Hampshire as well as how you can get involved and participate in some of the programs being offered at Best Buddies as they work towards providing opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

About Sarra:
Sarra started her career in Washington, DC as a legislative Aid for Congressman Brian Bilbray and then moved to the NRCC raising money for Congressional Candidates in the House of Representatives. In 2001, shortly after 9/11, she gave birth to her first child, Liam, who was born with Trisomy 21 (Down syndrome.) Her family relocated to New Hampshire where she has been since 2002 and added two beautiful children to the mix. She now uses her fundraising skills as the State Director in New Hampshire for Best Buddies – a worldwide non-profit dedicated to ending the physical and social isolation of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
