Just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday, we invite you to a sumptuous feast of MTG nostalgia. If you possessed an Alpha starter deck, what would you do with it? Would you keep it locked safe in a vault, preserving its possibilities for future generations? Would you sell it to the highest bidder, turning old cardboard into $100,000 or more of cold hard cash? Or maybe, just maybe, would you open it? 

In this episode of Faithless Brewing, our guest is choosing option D --- not just opening an Alpha starter deck, but organizing a blowout sealed deck event, where pack fresh Alpha cards will go head to head with old packs through Revised in matches played for ante. Cards that have remained sealed for more than 30 years will finally see the light of day and meet one another in glorious battle, in the auspicious glow of a sealed brick of Alpha starters.

The NV Invitational is a one-of-a-kind celebration, part tournament, part birthday bash, part Last Supper. In an era when Magic's future looks cloudier than ever, we return to the game's earliest days, when each new booster multiplied possibilities and cards were unequivocally meant to be played.
